Creating Confidence In Your Staff

‘Confidence For Your Staff’

I have been speaking to a number of clients who have commented that while their staff are generally self confident in their core business – this has not necessarily flowed over to new and diverse areas in their workplace.

Some examples of this include an accounting firm where the accountants were ‘very successful in the core business of accounting. However when they added financial planning to the business, staff confidence slipped just when they needed it most.’

A young receptionist in her first job ‘lacked self confidence in presenting herself and the business’ – and she was the ‘first point of contact’ for this business.

A busy medical practice where ‘confidence in dealing with a wide variety of people unwell and often distressed’ on a daily basis is essential but wasn’t happening.

A budding nanny agency where involving the nannies themselves  in a ‘nanny event’ and getting their input was part of planning and creating the team proved to be a confidence building boost and was an expression of appreciation for the boss and the workers.

Having CONFIDENCE is more just an essential life skill, it is also one of the most basic business building tools in today's competitive market.

My role as a Confidence Coach is not to be involved in your core business, you already know that, it is to help your staff to be confident and present themselves and your business confidently.

There is no manual for building self confidence for your business. This is all about you and your team. And what you can and will do. You may be saying ‘I know they know my business’, ‘I know they can do it, they have the skills’. Yet I bet they can rattle of all the reasons why they can’t promote your new business or new product.

I can help you turn that energy around and work for you and your business.

‘When you see and hear someone speak with confidence, it creates an extraordinary energy in you that is attractive, strong and engaging. When you are with a confident person you feel a connection, they help take your fears away and you want some of what they have got. Confidence is the invisible thread that is behind successful people and businesses’.

Isn’t that what you want your staff and customers to feel in your business?

I have helped many people over the years to overcome their fears of speaking and promoting your business and your services is just another form of speaking.

I work by first getting you and your staff to acknowledge what they can do. Working individually or in small groups I have a series of exercises that explore and build confidence and presentation skills.  This is the extra touch - being able to present themselves and the business with complete confidence.

I would like to meet with you for an informal, no-cost chat so you can learn more about what I can do, and to start building the connection and trust that is so important for a successful coaching relationship.
